Toggle Mode: This mode is ideal for table and floor lamps. In toggle mode, the Zapper recognizes a single button from your IR remote to both turn the Zapper on and off. |

Discrete Mode: This mode is ideal for media devices (amplifiers, TVs, game consoles, HTPCs, cooling systems, ...). In discrete mode the Zapper recognizes two buttons from your IR remote, one for turning the Zapper on, the other for turning the Zapper off. |
